What is IPL?
Clinically proven by dermatologists for safe and effective use, IPL stands for 'Intense Pulsed Light' and it is a safe hair removal system used to achieve permanent hair removal. The pulse works under the skin's surface to target hairs at the root to inhibit their growth.
How often do I need to use it & is it safe?
We recommend using the system once weekly for the first 10 weeks. After this period as results take place we recommend using it once a month, or every 2-3 months as needed.
Various research studies over the years have demonstrated safe and effective use of IPL hair removal, intense pulsed light is used to achieve permanent hair removal in the long run.
Which areas of my body can I use this on?
You can use your IPL handset on your entire body however we recommend keeping clear of your eyes and other sensitive areas, direct contact with eyes can lead to impaired vision. We highly recommend steering clear of sensitive facial areas, we recommend usage anywhere below your cheekbones as a safety precaution.
Does it hurt?
IPL treatment is quick and painless, most users describe the pulsed light as a warm, tingling sensation on the skin.
How long will it take before I start seeing results?
Most users notice a reduction of hair after just 3-4 treatments. However, results vary from person to person.
Can I use the device when I have fake tan on?
No, all fake tan or moisturisers should be removed prior to using the device, you must ensure the skin is clean and dry prior to usage, no other products should be present on the skin prior.
Do I need to shave before using the device?
Yes, to ensure best results we recommend shaving the night before, for the IPL to work the best, it is required that the root is still intact therefore we do not recommend plucking/epilating/waxing prior to using the device.
Does IPL work for all skin tones?
IPL Is only suitable for all but dark skin tones, research has proven the best results are seen on those with fair skin and dark hair, Lumia Azure does NOT recommend IPL for:
- Dark skin tones (tanned or natural)
- Sensitive fair skin which is naturally red, very light blonde hair or grey/white natural hairs
Is it safe to IPL over freckles or moles?
IPL should not be used over any Moles, broken skin, birthmarks, tattoos, or any other pigmented/discoloured skin.
I have tattoos, can I still use this IPL Device?
We strongly advise that the IPL is not used over any tattoos the IPL light over tattoos may result to the tattoo being affected and may cause the skin in that area to burn.

Whilst we take pride in our high-quality production process, sometimes things can go awry during manufacturing. In the case, Golden Sands Bikini is happy to offer an exchange or full refund.
If the customer has received an incorrect order please return the product as per the return instructions. Shipping charges will be refunded (standard shipping only). Please note, if the customer wears their received incorrect order or faulty garment this voids the return. The garment must be unworn, unwashed, unused and all sanitary pads and swing tags attached.
Due to hygiene standards, we do not offer return or exchange for earrings.

We do not offer any return or exchange one it's passed 30 days. Once our customer service team have reviewed and approved your request, we will send you a returns form and notify you of the next steps to take.

- Return as original, clean, unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unused, and with all original tags still attached.
- Please make sure that swimwear is tried on over your own underwear. In the interests of hygiene, we may refuse returns of items where it's obvious that this hasn't been done, or hygiene stickers have been removed.
Please avoid getting makeup, tan and other marks on the product. All items are thoroughly inspected. If items clearly do not meet the requirements above, they will be returned back to the customer automatically.

Once we receive the item(s) back at GOLDEN SANDS BIKINI it may take 1-4 business days to process and receive a store credit confirmation via email.
GOLDEN SANDS BIKINI does not accept the responsibility of customer sent return or exchange packages; so it is advised that when shipping returns or exchanges that meet the above-required criteria, customers should select a service that provides tracking.
PLEASE NOTE: Duty, tax and/or shipping costs incurred on an exchange order is at the customers’ expense and cannot be refunded unless deemed faulty by email@example.com
You will receive an email notifying you whether your store credit or return has been accepted or declined. Golden Sands Bikini reserves the right to refuse the package and/or return the item(s) back to the sender should the merchandise not abide by our returns policy.
If we have accepted your return you will receive an email notifying you that your item(s) qualify and another issuing the store credit equal to the value of the product being returned. Refunds will be processed in the method as the original payment within 5 business days of Golden Sands Bikini receiving the return parcel.
PLEASE NOTE: Golden Sands Bikini cannot be held accountable for banking institution processing timeframes.
REFUND SHIPPING / DELIVERY COSTS IF I RETURN
All customers are responsible for postage payments. We will not refund the shipping costs. We will issue a store credit for the complete cost of the returned item. The only instance in which we will cover postage costs will be in the event of a faulty or incorrectly posted item.

All items that have been reduced in price cannot be returned for store credit. No exceptions can be made. This includes using discount and promotion codes. Please consider items marked as 'final sale' carefully as they are not eligible for refund, credit or exchange unless they are faulty and are returned within 7 days from the date the items were delivered.

DOMESTIC DELIVERY (WITHIN AUSTRALIA)
Most of the delivery address within Australia will be dispatched via AusPost & Aus Sendle Courier. Orders will typically arrive between 1 to 14 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on your location.

- Please ensure that delivery details are correct before checkout as our system is an automatic dispatch system and orders cannot be amended once placed.
